How did I lodge complaint after losing Mobile phone?

How did I lodge complaint after losing Mobile phone?

While my daughter lost her mobile at Bangalore a fortnight ago, the WhatsApp post that gives details of easy way of lodging the complaint, made me try undertaking the process. The post suggests that you can find your lost mobile phone if you send mail along with some details to cop@vsnl.net.

Whereas my IMEI Number was of 17 digits, the post writes to note the 15 digit IMEI Number. This discrepancy made me doubt the veracity of the post. This is what happened, thereafter:

Confirmed that IMEI number can have 15 or 17 digits.

cop@vsnl.net was an id of Chennai police which ceases to exist. I checked the existence of this email id at email verifying websites. The result was – this email id doesn’t exist now.
Faintly, I recapitulated reading the provision of lodging e-complaint with Bangalore Police. Searched to reach Bangalore Police <http://www.bcp.gov.in/home.aspx > Quick Links > Lost Report > Directs you to < http://lostclikfound.com > A Public – Private Engagement > < http://bcp.gov.in/report_lost_item.aspx > filled details of the lost mobile > immediate e-acknowledgement can be downloaded.
Though the complaint page has grievances that can be lodged for lost items anywhere in Karnataka, the acknowledgement has disclaimer which states that, ‘This application is for lodging report of articles lost in Bangalore Only’
Since the said post evoked curiosity and debate in most groups, I thought of sharing my practical experience here.

Review: Clarity is Power by Mahatria Ra (formerly Shri Rangarajan) of Infinitheism (Alma Mater)

Clarity is Power by Mahatria Ra (formerly Shri Rangarajan) of Infinitheism (Alma Mater).

The 'Clarity is Power' book set box contains 11 books in the format of Questions & Answers on the following topics: 1. Attitudes 2. Self-Discipline 3. Emotional Development 4. Relationships 5. Marriage 6. Parenting 7. Student Life 8. Career Growth 9. Organisational Leadership 10. Spirituality 11. Faith

I started highlighting/marking important ideas, Keywords and phrases that caught my attention, while doing that, I almost marked every sentence. Its crisp, up to the point, distilled insight fomenting your attention all through. Ultimately, it leaves you feeling the thoughts of this Great Soul.

The questions are simple, day to day dilemma’s a normal individual faces. Those when asked and subsequently answered by the Author, it gains profundity. It has really given clarity in thought & the thinking process. These booklets, each of about 40-45 pages, are independent, dealing with the title topic. When you read one after another, there is bound to be repetition. That will just help in reminding and consolidating the point of view.

On tricky issue of relationships, which is dynamic and subjective, the author has delicately and appropriately handled issues of extramarital affairs & divorces – unsatisfied life, envy of father-in-law, mother-in-law etc, he has taken a very balanced approach, instead of taking popular trendy path, stressing on the framework of thinking instead of being judgemental.

Some random catchy phrases, pen & paper gives a direction to your thinking and also keeps the mind focussed; Pleasure and Pain are the navigations of human behaviour; Life is about forward progress & not backward regression; The hater always suffers; Yesterday was over yesterday. This is the plan on which life is built; Intimacy can be built in a relationship by being transparent; do benchmark yourself with your value system; None can be all things to everybody; bring about change in the conditioning of the person.

A booklet of this size is not expected to deal with deeper issues comprehensively; however, it is successful in connecting the superficial to the fundamental in patches. Further, it stitches together all ages, relationships, lifestyle, work issues, growth, evolution and finally the occult.

Somehow, printer’s nightmares in the form of typo error have crept in, though sparingly.

Having rated this as Top class, I had decided to relevantly gift some booklets on respective occasions. However, though each booklet is independently readable, they are not individually available.

Finally, it appears the recent print is exhausting, leading to more demand and less supply situation. This was apparent when, I tried ordering bulk copies – from MRP of Rs 999, both Flipkart & Amazon zoomed it to Rs 1999. Not wanting to fall for exploitation, I remained inactive; since then it was available for the MRP on Flipkart. Now, it is out of stock.

Revised reprints should be considered ASAP.

Though, I am still a seeker and the author is the sought, while reviewing and submitting, I have tried with effort not to be subjective
