What is coaching?
Ans: Important way of communicating to each other by asking questions. Good Relationship is aimed between Coach  & Coachee as both are considered equals where no one knows all the answers. Discuss solutions.
In Training & Venturing methodology: Person, who was the best in the respective sphere would tell the trainee of what is right.
In coaching, one has to find out what is the right way for the coachee together. Coaching respects individuality.
There is no one right way. We all think differently as our experiences are different.
E.g.: Motor Racing: Driving the Car & Coaching. Lot of value in the physical activity of sports.
Work with them individually. Development of the understanding in helping them think,
Timothy Goway: Inner way: Both understood what we have to do to be successful.
You are good at helping people to perform better. Can you help us in performing better in our businesses?
Tried the same. You don’t have to be an expert in the field.

What is your best way of doing, what is good for the coachee’s mind,
How it is in the head?
Manage the things that we don’t know.

For E.g. In sports: Focused on what you have to do to perform well. We are desperate, we become more nervous > that fear gets in our way to perform
Helping people have the right mental condition. Comfortable, confident, quality of relationship.
How does one do away the fear: Get attention on the physical side > what part of body > aware of your own body: Awareness of yourself & thoughts, body. Aware of what your opponent
Coachee is made aware that they are responsible for their own action by the choices they make.
Very aware & very personal responsibility.

Time in psychology: Remedial activity: What is it more that I can do better?
Teacher – Child: 80% of times the teacher identifies the mistake instead of the positives. Saying, well done. What more can you do is better.
Focused on what is wrong, instead, look at, What is right, what is good, what is helpful. How can you do better? Look at the positive.
Coaching is not a remedial tool, rather a developmental tool: What is the solution>
What is the best way to do better? You and I walk different.
Personal Philosophy:
In the beginning, be successful in coaching, focused on the person being successful, more coaching > focussed on the other> coaching for more than 30 years > what needs to be changed in the world. More interested in making a World a better place. We are playing the game of living in the world.
More successful > everyone being happy. Quality of relationships in the world> Economic problems, countries, religions.

Trait of a good Coach: It’s about the coachee. Needs to be interested in the other person’s life. Focus on the other person. Focussed on the student. Not on the coach who is interested in whether he is doing well. People Skills. Expert in asking good questions: Need not be an expert

Core objective: Confident, Comfortable & happy.
Synching the right way. What can you add to that.

Keep your personal concerns aside & park it somewhere else. Concentrate on the other person: I am able to forget personal problems

Friend as a coach: Personal development: People skills: Being confident > What would make you to be more confident: Successful in more than one activity: Then you can help other people > Work in Charity > Para Olympics: Tells his story: I am in a chair, I am successful > if I can do it, you can do too.

Transform culture: People thinking about other people instead of themselves. Its not okay about your life. Competitive economic situation. They don’t care about others. Very irresponsible > How can we help our society > Now, I am interested in making the world a better place:

Grow Model:
Conversation: method of thinking: Logical way of thinking: The grow model > useful to start with > chronological way > How do you manage the team now > what is the truth now? > Okay what alternatives you can use > what better thing you can you > which one of the possible things you can do > Understand their goal in what they want to achieve.

Chronological sequence is useful when you are coaching yourself also.

What do I want to improve to achieve better relationship with family >Tell me about the relationship now.

Self Coaching must be very good. One should be honest in answering the questions. Admit your weaknesses.
They think > keep exploring > a long journey of exploration > hopefully the humankind becomes happier. Support each other instead of conflict > evolution > Improve each day.

Great/fulfilling part of coaching is I don’t have to know the answer or an expert. I can work with variety of people. What will help you to become faster?
Ask yourself the question.
Transpersonal coaches: Leading edge: How can you make it better? Everyone can do better? Good at people skills, understanding people, not good at particular activity.
Self responsibility is the most important thing in the evolution of the world.
Self responsibility in the US would be not to have guns. In India, it would be not to treat women so badly.   English: Think more of the other people. Traditional problems.
Optimistic: Happiness
The first step would be self responsibility. Makes other people happy.
Coaching: How it is getting mature > evolutionary process > Whole system thinking > Now, everyone is in ‘How I can get more money?’  What about other people. > We have to take responsibility of thinking of other people > we have to care, be concerned about others.
Evolution of humanity > not only for ourselves, family, people whom we know, transworld, including animals.
Can be applied to every situation > Wonderful principle to live by >
Remember to ask the right question > you have the answer with you > what is the best possible question you would like to ask yourself > be honest in answering.
