What's different in Ms Rashmi's action

What's different in Ms Rashmi's action

Earlier, upright bureaucrats have raised their voice & stood up against unjust, however standing up against the alleged corrupt practices of your own colleagues, that too Senior colleagues is what stands out in this recent instance.
Often, every colleague is known to suppress & overlook the malpractice of their colleagues, wanting to belong, not wanting to be the reason to bring bad name to the community, say, Civil Services etc. This is not specific to respective group, but is ubiquitous to all groups - Media, Judiciary (except Justice Markhandy Khatju), doctors etc. That is why self regulation hasn't worked across the professions & ultimately resulting in ineffective functioning & governance or finger pointing.
Pointing towards the ills of their own pillar is the need of the hour, especially in bureaucracy & that is why Ms Rashmi, IAS needs kudos.
